New Alpha Version of StreamJam used for OK Go Concert

Posted on May 1, 2010

The Electric Sheep Company (ESC) this week pushed live its latest alpha version of StreamJam, its free app for putting live music events online in a virtual venue.  The update included new avatars, a new virtual venue, a new events list, and various other improvements.  Thursday night, OK Go’s concert at the Music Hall of Brooklyn was streamed into the app as a free test event for fans.  This was the first StreamJam test event with over a thousand fans, resulting in data useful for scaling the app and helpful user feedback.  ESC will continue to do occasional test events leading up to a more feature-rich Beta version of StreamJam expected to be launched in July.
